Dr. Cara McCary was born and raised in Florence, Alabama where she attended the University of North Alabama and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

After college, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. Following dental school, she practiced as a general dentist for two years in Houston, Texas before returning to Birmingham, Alabama to further her education. She completed her specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry.  Dr. McCary is board certified and Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics

Dr. McCary enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Luna.
